An Evening of Song with Trish Lester
Most of us know very well how Trish Lester can enrich a worship service through her expressive talent for music. Now hear her in a different venue, and with a different message. As a fund-raiser for UU’s of SCV, Trish will perform pop and folk tunes as well as her original works at the Chalice Center on June 14.from 7:30 to 9:00 pm (A rumor is circulating that a certain amount of singing-along may be allowed.) Come enjoy the evening and contribute to our church’s ability to be a strong part of this community.
Drumming is a powerful form of meditation and a wonderful way to renew our spiritual connection with others and the greater web of life. Please join us for our new monthly drum circle, led by Burl Bolerjack of the Spiritual Unity Movement. Drums are provided or bring your own . This event is open to teens and adults, and you do not need to be a UU of SCV member to attend. A $10 donation is requested.
The drum circle is held at the Chalice Center, 22916 Lyons Ave, Suite 2B at 7:00 PM.
