This is a welcoming and joyful group of readers who love to share their thoughts on the selections chosen. Everyone’s presence is encouraged. This group meets the second Wednesday of each month.

We will meet at 6:00 pm at the home of Lois Linnert. Please bring a dish to share (vegan and vegetarian preferred) and a beverage of your choice, as well as your thoughts and your critique. UUSCV’s Covid Policy is followed.

On November 13th we will be discussing “James” by Perceval Everett. This provocative novel is through the eyes of James, Huckleberry Finn’s Black traveling companion as they moved down the Mississippi River. James is the runaway slave who has a point of view that needs expressing.

Wednesday, December 11th we will be discussing “Major Pettigrew’s Last Stand.” This book is by Helen Siminson.
