A memorial service will be held for Bruce Glad on April 6 after the regular Sunday service, at Vibe and online (on the regular UU of SCV Zoom).

Bruce and his wife, Rowena (known as Romi), joined UU of SCV in 2011. They were both involved in Book Club. Bruce spoke to the congregation on Fathers’ Day about being a father and grandfather. Bruce had been on the Board of Trustees.

They were caretakers for their grandsons, Dylan and Shane, who attended RE regularly as kids. Bruce, Romi, and the boys went to Camp de Benneville one Fall, and Shane participated in the talent show, treating us to a show of rifle spinning that he learned in ROTC. We held a bridging ceremony for the boys when they graduated high school in 2017. Since the pandemic, Bruce and Romi had been attending services online.
