Janet James will talk about how she came to work at Camp de Benneville Pines over 25 years ago, and why she loves our camp. She will share her insights, struggles and joys over the years. She will tell us about what has inspired her during her years at camp; and the legacy she hopes to leave.

After the Service — We will have an informational session after the service for those who want to know more about camp.

Janet has been the Executive Director of Camp de Benneville Pines for 25 years. With an eye for detail, she has worked hard to raise funds to upgrade the facilities, create programs for adults and families and welcome outside lease groups such as “Camp Bravo” (a theater arts camp for youth). She developed Rainbow Family Camp (for LBGTQ families), Camp Transcend (for families with Transgender youth), Yoga camp and Music in the Mountains folk music camp through community outreach and partnerships.
