A Unitarian Universalist approach to the Gospel of Mark which explores the concept of Jesus’ concealed identity as the Messiah. Delve into the layers of Mark’s narrative as we unravel the reasons behind Jesus’ veiled nature and the implications it holds for our spiritual journeys.

Join us as we contemplate the balance between revelation and mystery, and how it reflects on our own quests for meaning and understanding in a world filled with hidden truths. Sermon is inspired by the scholarship of William Wrede an early 20th century scholar and the contemporary scholarship of Bart Ehrman, who calls the Gospel of Mark his favorite gospel.

There is no pre-service meditation on Sundays when we Zoom into UUFKC’s service.
