The Center of our Faith

What’s the difference between the work of justice-oriented non-profit organizations and our faith community? We UUs are known for our social justice work but what is the fuel that drives your social justice work? The sermon will talk about why we do what we do, and that love is our primary motivator.

Angeline C. Jackson is the former Executive Director and co-founder of Quality of Citizenship Jamaica, an organization for lesbian and bisexual women. She has received multiple awards for her work and is a recognized international expert in the field of LGBTQ+ education. She is the author of “Funny Gyal: My Fight Against Homophobia in Jamaica” and a sought-after speaker. Angeline is a Unitarian Universalist minister in preliminary fellowship and an entrepreneurial minister.
