“Michael Servetus – Unitarian Ancestor”

Michael Servetus was a Spanish theologian, physician, cartographer, and humanist who was burned at the stake in the 1500s for his belief in “liberality among Christians.” He was an inspirational pioneer who motivated the Renaissance movement, and his ideas eventually became a driving philosophy behind the founding of America. Servetus is considered one our early Unitarian ancestors. Let’s hear his story and consider how it informs us about ways in which societal change comes to pass?
