We Are All Vulnerable

Rev. Jo Green, a white woman with blonde hair. She is wearing a white minister's robe and a multicolored stole, and holding a wreath.

In our culture, vulnerability is seen differently in women and men. International Women’s Day is this Wednesday March 8 where we embrace equity between genders.

Let’s explore how creating equity can also increase vulnerability in male genders as it seems to be in female genders. Boys will be boys does not have to be in our conversation any longer. We can replace it with it’s okay to be sad. Period.

The Rev. Jo Green came to ministry as a third career after years teaching art to 7th Graders and working in the corporate world later on.
