“I’ve been a member of UU of SCV for a few years. I joined because I like the community of diverse people and it’s not at all like the fire and brimstone church I’d been checking out. I appreciate Rev Megan. Her sermons are so uplifting and interesting, drawing ideas from many sources.
“Being a member with my daughter, Natalie, has been wonderful. People are genuinely happy to see a little one come to the service and Nat learns valuable lessons about character and virtue in Religious exploration. It’s a relief for me to know she’s in good hands while I listen to the sermon.
“The Poets in Person group not only helped me develop as a writer, it also offered me an opportunity to get to know its members well. Social & Environmental Justice team is an ambitious group that educates and considers practical ways we can have an impact in the larger community.
“Being a member of UU of SCV has given me spiritual and moral compass as well as an ideal place to interact, express my views, and hear others.”
